Account Coordinator

Department: MMSI-Client Services
Location: Remote

At a Glance

This entry-level position supports our Client Service team at MMSI. This person will work with client teams to organize and administer campaign deliverables. You will have the opportunity to join a close-knit client service team, as well as work closely with our departments, where your efforts will play a key role in successfully delivering on client expectations. The Account Coordinator assists in a variety of general tasks to support the overall process of managing campaigns.

This role is remote and accommodating meetings in different US time zones is expected. Preference may be given to candidates in Eastern Standard Time zone.

This is a full-time, non-exempt (hourly) position.

What does an Account Coordinator do at MMSI?

  • Supports the planning and implementation of assigned campaigns completing a wide range of duties to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and meet the needs of the client.
  • Coordinate campaign setup, interfacing with Media, Production, Data Ops, Analytics and Finance.
  • Work with client and internal account teams to manage timelines, deliverables and track progress.
  • Create and maintain flowcharts, project schedules, deliverables, client status updates, and more.
  • Assists in preparation of all client meetings, calls, and presentations.
  • Completes research for competitive analysis and gathers information for presentations.
  • Pull, compile and sort impression, research and competitive data Nielsen/MRI/Kantar).
  • Establishes effective communication between internal teams and clients.
  • Effectively manage client expectations based on deadlines and deliverables.
  • Develop client relationships and become the Client Services back-up to accts that they may contact directly with questions.
  • Co-manage all reporting and budget updates in collaboration of the Client Services team.
  • Attends client calls/meetings as needed, types notes and provides recaps as directed.
  • Create and maintain various charts and reports - to be shared internally and externally to impact the clients’ business to obtain goals.
  • Prepare and analyze daily and weekly reports for multiple clients and internal staff and translate the data into meaningful summaries calling out key points.
  • Assist media with the substantiation process by tracking documentation or revisions needed, and work with the client on all deliverables needed for network approval.
  • Create presentations, proposals and client decks as needed.
  • Consistently identifies new solutions to improve and create processes for improved efficiency.

What do we look for in an Account Coordinator at our agency?

  • 1-3 years’ experience in a professional setting, agency setting or marketing organization. DRTV experience is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Strong initiative and follow-up skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task with strong time-management skills.
  • Ability to write proposals/presentations.
  • Keen analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Strict attention to detail
  • College Degree preferred
